Boasting the second highest number of residents who are artists by profession in all of Canada, Squamish is becoming know as an art destination....a place to view and buy art. We welcome you to our annual events.

Art at the Market

The Art at the Market gallery is showing on 2 days during the summer in downtown Squamish! Art at the Market is an opportunity for Squamish-area artists to show and sell their creative works to local residents and visitors. Each year we also hold a fundraiser raffle for a piece of art donated by one of our artists. The proceeds are shared by a local charitable organizations and VISUALS. The gallery will be at the Squamish Arts Council Building in the park on Cleveland Avenue and will be manned by the artists showing that day. Next door, will be the Farmer's Market. This gallery will showcase an exciting array of our groups' paintings, photography, pottery, stained glass and more. There will be a People's Choice Award Certificate presented to the artist whose art receives the most votes and a prize draw for all visitors who vote. 

ArtWalk

ArtWalk is VISUALS' showcase weekend event, held every September. Enjoy meeting the artists in their studios and be inspired by their talents. Delight in discovering the rich and diverse displays by local artists showcased throughout our galleries, shops and artist studios. Come out, pick up a Guide at the many locations around town and participate in our self-guided tour. You'll be glad you did. There are beautiful art prizes to win when you get your Key to Art stamped at our venues. This is also the last chance to purchase a raffle ticket.  The winner in the annual fundraiser raffle will be drawn at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Surrounded by natural beauty, Squamish Town Centre hosts a variety of restaurants and cafes, specialty shops, a character northwest inn, galleries, activities and services.
